I built it from experience. I’ve had three C-sections. I was diagnosed with PCOS after years of unexplained symptoms and fertility challenges. I served in the military — training others and pushing my body to meet demanding physical standards — while feeling completely disconnected from my own health. I spent years doing what I was supposed to do. Eating well. Staying active. Following the programs. And I still struggled. Weight that wouldn’t move. Fatigue that wouldn’t lift. A body that felt like it was fighting against me. That experience is not a footnote in my story. It is the reason I coach — and the reason I coach differently.
When I received my PCOS diagnosis, everything finally made sense. The years of frustration were not a character flaw. My body was operating on a different set of rules than the programs I had been given — rules that most coaches simply don’t account for. After the birth of my children and everything that came with it — physically and emotionally — I leaned deeply into my faith. I believe the Holy Spirit guided me toward the knowledge, the tools, and the approach that helped me rebuild my body, manage my PCOS, and finally feel at home in my own skin. In 2013, StayFit was born. Not as a business idea — as a calling. What started locally in the DFW area became a mission that has helped hundreds of women around the world find their own version of strong.
I work with two specific groups of women:
When you come to StayFit, you are not getting a generic plan from someone who has never struggled with their own body. You are getting a coach who has been in the frustration, done the work, and built a system that actually functions in real life.
